In 2023, AARP reported 21% of registered voters said they were currently caregivers, and 49% expected to be a caregiver in the future.  Given that we are living longer and our health and resources are not keeping pace—this is an issue that affects us all in some way.

SPONSORSHIP

    • Workshop size: 5-20 people or 20+ with an additional facilitator.

    Format:

While developed as an in-person workshop, it can also be delivered virtually with smaller groups

Caregiving realities will be discussed from a wider lens. We encourage participants to candidly identify: caregiver strengths, preferences (caregiver and receiver), encourage a wider view of care team, identify gaps and next steps based upon priorities of current or future situations.

We’ll use the PDSC WHO CARES workbook, do short exercises in small groups and have community discussion.

  • $850

    2. Business recognition on event marketing materials.

Honor a death (of a loved one, a pet, or any type of death) through a simple art project, using paper and fabric to create a set of mini-wings. Not everyone wants to talk about death. Sometimes we need to use our hands and grab a pair of scissors!
